Why Firmpoint exists

A construction firm buys constantly: steel, blocks, cement, hire, subcontract work. The quotes for all of it arrive the way suppliers like to send them, which is a photo on WhatsApp, a PDF in an email, a price read out on a phone call. Somebody in the office then types it all again into Excel to compare, and again into the ERP once it is approved.

The people doing that work are not disorganised. The paperwork genuinely arrives that way, and no system they own was built for it. Firmpoint reads what already comes in, puts it in one place, compares it, gets the order approved and hands it to the ERP. Their systems stay exactly where they are.

What this is not

Not an ERP, and not a replacement for one. Nothing gets ripped out.
Not a payments product. Money movement stays with the firm's bank and ERP.
Not paid for by suppliers. No commission, no rebate, no paid placement, ever. The firm that uses Firmpoint is the only one who pays for it.

How it is being built

In the open, with people who buy for a living. The product is shaped by what procurement teams and estimators actually do in a day, checked with them, and changed when they say it is wrong. Construction firms in the UAE and the UK are the first firms it is built for.

Firmpoint is early. The app is live at app.firmpoint.app, the guided demo walks one real order end to end, and firms are being taken on a few at a time. If you buy materials for a living and something here is wrong, tell him and it gets fixed.
